Is it just me, or is the screen where you write your entries different than before? Could be just me...I am still not used to using this site and keep almost forgetting that its even here.

Nothing much going on around here as of lately. Just enjoying being done with school, looking for work, going to church and stuff like that. I am a bit frustrated that I haven't found work yet, but I didn't really expect to since I don't yet have my Phlebotomy certification officially done. I FINALLY got it scheduled and am taking my ASCP exam 3/21. I am so stinkin nervous. I don't like taking big tests. I think I'll be ok though. I've been using the flashcard study guide thing that goes with my review book, and sat down and took a test on all 583 flashcards and got 578 correct. They are pretty obvious though and a lot of them give the answer away, but I guess studying with something is better than not studying at all. It makes me nervous though. I paid $135 to take this exam...I want to be prepared and need to pass it. I am hoping to find work shortly after getting that done (crossing fingers).

The kids are doing good. Braylen is going to school every day and doing really well. He got on the A-B honor roll for the last 9 weeks. He's such a little smarty pants. Kaylia is just as much of a brat as ever lol. They have been bowling in a Saturday noontime league for the past few weeks and at the end of the league they each get a new bowling ball, so that's pretty cool. Its been pretty fun taking them over there. They bowl 2 games and then after that, they take some of their allowance money and get tokens to play games. Then they get tickets from the games and are saving them all up until the end of the league and then seeing what kind of prizes they can get from the tickets they accumulated.

As crazy as this sounds, even though I just finished school, I am pretty much decided on going back again and getting my LPN. I think it'll really open up more job opportunities for me because not only will I be a nurse, but I will be certified to do blood draws too. I am excited just as the idea of having more credentials behind my name. I am tired of sitting around being a nobody and am bound and determined to turn myself into a somebody.

That's pretty much all the updating I have in me for now. I am going to go snuggle up in the recliner with my library book and get some reading done. Buh bye for now!
