Just stopping by to say hi real quick. I don't write in here real often. I think I'm just not used to this site yet, and with OD going down, I have almost forgotten that I can come here and write down instead.
Things have been good here. Still no luck for me on the job situation, but it is definitely something that I have been continuously praying on. I called the ASCP to find out what is going on with my exam for my phlebotomy certification...of course they told me nothing and I found the info I needed online on their website instead...lol. It shows that they have received my application and fee, so now I am waiting on it to be processed and waiting on them to contact me letting me know that I can go take my test. I need to get that done badly, because I have this nagging feeling that that is why I have not been getting more calls from employers about jobs. I just want a job...that's all...
We had a good service last night at church, so that was uplifting and really does help when you are under this kind of stress and uncertainty. It was a good holy ghost service with lots of anointing and shouting. Was good for everyone with as horrible as the weather has been lately. Lots of us haven't been getting out. I pretty much get out to take Braylen to school, get him from school, and go to the store and that's it.
Kaylia and I did get to go shopping recently though. Shopping in Kohl's is always an adventure with a 4 year old, but we both have so much fun and its good girly time for us both. Its not often that just the two of us get to get out and do something fun. She got to pick out a new Sofia the First dress, and of course her little face lit up when she asked if she could have it and I told her she could. She even got a new pair of pink sparkly princess shoes, so she was a happy little lady.
That's about all that has been going on here lately. Just waiting on this weather to break. I have been eating WAY too much, especially comfort foods and am dying to get out this spring and jog. HURRY UP SPRING!
