For all of her faults, America is still the greatest country in the world. Of course, I have never lived anywhere else so that statement is slightly biased. And I am thankful for the freedom we have. While I do not agree and practice some of them it is those certain unalienable rights, that make us so great.
Many of my family served in the Armed Forces to keep this country free. It is because of those who fought and sadly those who died we are able to live the life we do. Is it perfect? Far from it. But as one of my favorite singers sang, “If you don’t love it leave it!”
Enjoy your freedom, for there are those who would give everything to have it.
