Fall in Life After 60

I am thankful this morning for the fall. It’s bright colors with the cool, crisp air, (along with going back to Standard Time) bring me back to life. After a long hot summer, the air is so refreshing.
From the view in my office, I have a mountain that is only visible during the winter. The trees, when the leaves are green block it from my sight, but I know it is there. Just because I don’t see it, doesn’t mean it goes somewhere during the rest of the year.
And that is why I am thankful for Fall, it renews my perspective. I can begin to see things more clearly. And nothing is as beautiful as the trees turning from green to brilliant, bright colors of Autumn as they prepare for the winter ahead.
Take time to stop and enjoy the view today. Lend a helping hand to someone who might not ask for it but would welcome it.
