“Wait, hold on a minute…”
I sit down for meditation and prayer. Per usual, I start a brief stretch and yoga session as I continue to practice an new experimental breathing technique I’ve been toying with.
These thoughts occured after stepping away for a minute to get a brief moment to collect my thoughts after my mom left from dropping off lexs favorite potatoes and food she made (meal prepped herself because lex was sick.)
Finishing that Pepperidge Farm Milano cookie with my small glass of wine, I write these thoughts hoping to awake that spark of vision that showed me your face.

”…Who are you?” And in an instant she was gone. Those eyes, that smile, those lips…it was you. It was your shadow I felt those many years ago. In an instant before our eyes could totally focus, the vision was gone…fading thoughts and memories not yet created lingered like a overnight shunk crossing a backyard.

Shimmering thought fading and I’m trying desperately to hold on to it…why were you wearing red lipstick? Seductive yes, but that isnt what your eyes were saying. Your hair looked great! So much volume and life. I wanted badly to run my fingers through it while ruining that perfectly drawn lip liner. Having that instantaneous feeling of knowing you would scream “YES”, but knowing that in an appropriate time that would be better welcomed…and completed.

Breathing in…1....2.....3
Hold the breath....1…2....3..
Exhale the breath......1.....2.....3.....
Repeat until I see your face again in my dreams....

Where are you?
