Well, it's been a while, hasn't it?
I've been ok. Currently battling a cold but apart from that things are alright. We are in March which means spring should be here in the next three weeks... Hopefully!! I am just sooo done with winter. Yup, I'm breaking up with winter...
If only it were that easy, huh? :)
I'm going to register the boys at their new school today. I have a pretty good feeling about this school... hope I'm not wrong. Praying everything else will fall into place now... childcare and employment... Come April/May, I am going to seriously work on getting a new job, one with regular hours. Anywhere between 25-30 hours a week would be nice. I don't want to work full-time just yet. It's just too hard as a single mom to juggle work, caring for kids, and housework... The time will come when working full-time will be doable, just not right now.
Haven't seen my crush lately but I did find him on Facebook and added him :) He seemed happy about it. We've chatted a bit on FB since- yesterday he messaged me to see how I was feeling because he had seen my status about me being sick. That was sweet of him :) So there seems to be a little progress there but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much! Little by little we can get to know each other, as we hang out at church events and whatnot. He's hoping to lead our singles small group starting in April- I'd like to start going again. The group sort of dwindled after our leader left us. We had a temporary leader but he and his wife had just had a baby so he was finding it hard to find the time to prepare the lessons. I hope we can bring everyone back together again and I'm hoping in April I'll have a car!! That will make it easier for me to go out :)
Hm what else can I say... I'm itching to do something with my hair, it's looking pretty pathetic... I'd love to get some nice layers and get it colored, a deep red. Something like this...
Well my hair is a lot shorter but I want that color! Here, this one is closer to the style I'm thinking of...

It looks pretty there but now it's just NOT. LOL.

PS just had to add...My crush wrote to me again today asking if I had anyone helping me with cooking/the kids while I'm sick and I just about melted :) Liking him more and more! I'm OK with taking this slow though!
