I have never understood why the President of the United States can talk for 30 minutes and it takes the news commentator an hour to explain to us what the President actually said. Are we not capable of understanding? Just an observation.
Much like baseball. You have balls and strikes. The Umpire sets the strike zone, sometimes outside the imaginary “zone”, a batter is used to. You can’t argue balls and strikes but you can appeal to the first base umpire whether the batter completed a swing at the ball. And sometimes you get what is called a “no pitch”. Seriously, I just watched the pitcher throw a 97 MPH fastball across the plate, the batter swung at it, the catcher caught it. How in the world can you say no pitch? Oh, I guess it is like having a marriage annulled. You stood before God and witnesses and took the vows but you didn’t mean it?
Add to that, the abstention on a vote! Being neutral is one thing but do you not understand when you don’t vote you are actually voting No! Maybe that is why we need things explained to us. We are incapable of deductive reasoning.
After it is all said and done don’t believe everything you see and hear. Some would have you believe that a group of baboons is called a Congress. While I agree our Congress does show some similarities, I am offended that we try to hang that name on the baboons. What is a group of baboons? A Troup.
