Tonight I met up at Second Cup with two fellow team members of the non-profit organization I'm a part of. The three of us are on the communications team and had some matters to discuss re: our webpage. Sitting across from them, two very attractive men (lucky me!), felt funny to me. Well, on one hand it felt comfortable- in high school I enjoyed hanging out with the guys, playing soccer with them on our lunch break. Me and two guys going out for coffee in high school- no big deal. But this isn't high school anymore and I don't get many opportunities to just 'hang out' with guys. (And let's be honest... what single girl in her 30's wants to hang out with a hot guy without the intent to date him? ;)) Sadly, these two handsome men are already taken and if it were not for the business matters at hand, we wouldn't be meeting! Ah well, such is life. My life is so unfair sometimes...
Well, since I had that meeting tonight, I shipped the boys off to their dad's after dinner. Nick comes home early tomorrow morning to catch his bus but Luke I won't see until tomorrow night since he normally spends the day with Dad on Wednesdays. It feels weird not having them home on a weeknight. I don't feel as exhausted as I normally do by this time :) That hour/hour-and-a-half to get them to sleep can be draining, I tell ya! Might watch some Netflix now then hit the hay... Goodnight, all!
