“For weightlifting, what areas of the male body would need developing to be more conventionally attractive to females?”

Attraction is entirely based on the individual some prefer a chiseled chest others the arms or shoulders and still others love a six pack of washboard abs.
Looking at this from a full body perspective I would say your best bets would be the compound lifts/ big 3. Squats ,Deadlifts and Bench Press as these three to start with work multiple muscle groups and are key for full body result. Adding these with some overhead presses and your traditional biceps and tricep options ( bicep curls and dips/ tricep press and extension) To cover the core a cable pallof press to activate your core fully vs only a partial activation like when you do a crunch. You should see growth in most if not all of your major muscle groups with these and a clean diet, enough protein and rest .
