Fucking hell of a day in Chapter 1

So I had a power strip/surge protector die...my biggest one, i ripped my heating pad, i need a oil change (desperately!), and my computer fan died today.

Now out of all of that....my computer fan was the worst thing ever. I use my computer for work....for all of my jobs. My lesson plans/power points are on there for class every week (fortunately also on a flash drive), i use itunes to teach my fitness classes, my thesis for grad school, EVERYTHING!!! is on there. I flew down to staples where the guy saved my life, ordered a new fan, backed up everything, and promised that my computer would be up and running correctly in a week. Thank God!

So I transferred a bunch of music to my phone, to get through the week, plus all of my dance music.

I really REALLY need to learn how to use the damn Cloud to back things up.

My heating pad...i can't live without it during the week. I have back/hip issues from dance and practicing so much, i need it if i want to move the next day....i sleep on it. I know you're not supposed to but i have to...it's not an option. It did shut off automatically after 2 hours. The new heating pad is about 2x bigger than my old one and has an auto shut off after 1 hour. Oh and it's padded...yay for new things.

The power strip was old and happened a couple of days ago....so to be expected....still a big pain in the butt though because I live in a seriously old house, and it has 2 outlets per room. Read: not a lot of outlets. and I have so much stuff I have to plug in.

Oil change is happening on Wednesday. It has to, no option. I'm like 2000 miles over due. It's not because i don't take care of my car, I do, it's just time. I don't have any time to do these things, I guess it could be worse, I just don't like to let it go too long, especially not in the winter. This winter has been especially brutal.

It's just been one fucking hell of a day, and I really don't want to repeat it at all, ever again.
