Any day now people.... any day.... I have applied to countless jobs and have gone to many interviews but yet nothing. I don't know what to think, I know it is a job to find a job but you would think in the large field of pharmacy someone would outta be in need of hiring someone. However with me being fresh out of school I have little to no experience, and each job I applied for (excluding retail) but everything else whats you to have at least a year to 2 years of experience. But how will you gain that experience if no one wants to hire and train you.
I know my husband and family are looking at me in the corner of there eyes thinking "Ok you finished school now where is the job?" You tell me! I was told that my inter site would hire me if they liked me, so I worked my ass of like crazy to convince them that I was worth hiring and they really seemed like they liked me, but as soon as I was finished it was a different story.
It upsets me because that is the only reason why I went there, and I could kick myself when I discovered the place I was going to inter but went to Walgreen's instead was a compound pharmacy. Which is the exact area of pharmacy that I want to work in, I could have had my foot in the door, but no I wasted my fucking time at Walgreen's. Fuck Me! Fuck me! Fuck me!
I applied at the compound pharmacy that I was supposed to inter, and the job just sounded too good to be true. But that was over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything back from them, I even called in many times and left a messages but they never called me back. So that can only mean that was a blow out, so now I sit and wait for any other possible leads.
