some asswad comes along and fooks it all up. yup, you guessed it, the taxes. Turbo Tax is a great program. I use turbo tax most every year. I have also used h and r block online. back to what didn't go right.. fed return done, getting more back than I ever have before. mich tax done, I get it all back no matter anyway due to it being from a state pension. but...no. its at a stall the irs returned it to me saying someone has used the dependents already.
I thought to myself, the only one who can profit by claiming them, their dad. I have not had child support more than 2 months all the time I have had them, a year and a half. abbie had said he was complaining that he needed the money and wish he could claim them. he's laid off from work, collecting unemployment and was kicked out of his sisters house. he's 38 years old. I did text him and asked if he had claimed them. an hour later I got a text back saying he had only 1% power left on his phone and no, he hadn't even filed yet.
with all that, I responded ok, but if he did claim them he should speak up and tell me. he wasn't happy with me. funny thing I thought about, he never asked me why I was asking him when we had spoke about it when he was up to see the kids a few weeks ago.
I have to print off the taxes, and send them with the power of attorney papers. and proof kids are enrolled in head start here. james(the "dad") lives in Indiana. I am in Michigan. then I need to phone the irs and tell them what the rejection said and they will tell me who to contact. I will do that. and I will have my return in a year. wooo wooo!!
now I have to save big again to accomplish what I need to over the next year. for one, getting heat into that 3rd bedroom is essential. kylie wants to commute to school for the next 2 years. I told her its ok with me but she has to take care of the car, put gas in it. I also told her that she is still going to be working there, going to events as part of an internship she is participating in, and its a long drive back,,then homework, then bed. she will have no life. it's all ok. I have to let her grow up and make her own decisions, whether I agree or not.
I am really tired out. I am off to bed. I am already in bed.lol. I think I will have a snack, watch part of the news. wow..just heard 40 next week! first a few inches of snow.lol could happen all in the same day.
night night... p.s. the kids and I made sugar cut out cookies for valentines day treat! we had a lot of fun.
