yes we do, and we have had sun for a couple days. we usually don't see much sun all winter long. this feels nice. it's been - temps in the mornings but we are expecting a warm up. going to be almost 30 today and by next week in the 30's and 40's. what a mess it's going to be outside with all that snow melting. I will be able to get the kids outside to play a lot ..that I do like, and so do they!
today I am going to try and get my taxes done. I am really hoping that turbo tax talks me through with the purchase of the house and such! I am hoping to get enough back this year to put away incase of an emergency with the house. I also want to see how much it is going to cost to put heat into the 3rd bedroom. it has a wall heater but that heater is very old.
I want to be able to pick up a few things to help me organize the basement and laundry area. I just might tile the area under and around the washer and dryer. it has some tile now but it's old and coming up.
the kids are doing well, with the exception that they both have colds, and they are sharing it with me...isn't that special? LOL they are off school until Tuesday, for parent teacher conferences. I don't go till Monday. can't wait too see how they have progressed in their learning. both have breakfast right now, but neither are eating. I am sure that's due to sore throats. as soon as breakfast is over they are getting a bath and dressed. I am sure Tucker will want to play his new batman game for the wii. he and Morgan had Christmas money to spend and I took them shopping yesterday so they could shop.
I also bought a circular saw. not that I plan to use it, but there are things that need to be done here that will require it's use. figure I at least need the tools here to do fixit jobs. I bought a new printer, wireless. works great! I STILL don't have drapes in my bedroom. sheets cover the windows. that is something else I need to invest in. window coverings for my bedroom and livingroom. livingroom does have some curtains up now, but not what I want , just an old pair I had so I make due...until...I find what I want to hang.
I guess that's about all for now..other than noah and his g/f were married on Tuesday eve. his dad isn't happy about it. I think they, noah and shonae, have allowed the church to take over what they want to do. they are having a wedding this summer for family and close friends..around 100 people. they church wanted them married right away because of having JOSSLYN. get married very quietly now, didn't invite close family even. I was invited but didn't go because I didn't feel right about being the only family member there. that's one reason his dad is pissed, he wasn't invited nor told about it. I don't mind that they allowed the church to pressure them, it's their life to live not mine. I love them no matter how/when/where they marry.
well..kids need attention ..bath time. yay!!!
