The fourth day of developing the habits. Not very successful

1. WAKE UP ON THE 1ST ALARM. No alarm was set because I did not set it up last night. It is Sunday, and I’m not used to waking up with an alarm on Sundays.

2. CHANT 30 MINUTES IN THE MORNING & NIGHT. Again, I only did mornings. I get distracted too much during the night.

3. EXERCISE IN THE MORNING. I actually did this one this time! I didn’t walk to the park because I realized it was going to rain, so I just walked on the treadmill for about an hour. 30 minutes would be fine, but I kind of lost track since I was brainstorming on how to achieve my goals for January and February.

4. BECOME FLEXITARIAN. I’m proud to say again that this was also a success. However, I still need to watch my portion sizes.

5. SLEEP MORE. An unintentional success. I won’t be able to succeed this one tomorrow because I am sleeping in late again and need to go to the office early.

6. READ A FEW PAGES OF A BOOK EVERY DAY. I still didn’t manage this one T^T. I really need to start bringing my books with me wherever I go so that I can read them when I have some downtime instead of reading articles on the web.

7. ONLY DRINK WATER. Is ice cream a beverage? I ate that today. My brother was giving me a hard time by making me question myself if it was considered a candy or beverage. I’m assuming that it’s not because my gut tells me it’s a frozen dairy confection. I’m still calling this a success because I only drank water the whole day.

8. DO NOT EAT CANDY. That chocolate confection appeared again. My mom was unintentionally making me feel upset by eating it right in front of me and telling me how it was so freaking addicting during breakfast and lunch. Thankfully, I controlled my craving and did not eat a single bite.

9. PLAN YOUR SCHEDULE AHEAD. I finally completed the planner! However, I have to wait until Tuesday to retrieve it from Office Depot. I used their printing and binding service to produce my very own custom planner. It cost me about $27.00, but it was over 160 pages long and I asked for other customizations on it. This one is still unsuccessful, though, because I didn’t really plan out my whole day, just my morning.

10. WRITE AN ENTRY EVERYDAY. Woot! Writing is like one of the highlights of my day, so I’m not going to skip a day on this anytime soon. Maybe when I get back to school because I’ll be busier.

Personal Summary Analysis: I accomplished 5.5/10 of the goals today. Wow. I thought my progress was going to decrease, but it still went up. Alright, I’ll make sure to do even better tomorrow.
