OMG! in A Day in the Life of Me

We FINALLY have rides!! nothing like doing it in the 11th hr.....
one of the ladies who helped make my wedding dress msg’d and offered to drive us down tomorrow morning :) (after yet another plan fell through)
Our ride BACK semi-flaked on us… decided he wasn’t leaving until the 27th! which we both have to be at work for in the afternoon…
Mom to the rescue.. I was so stressed about it thinking it was all gonna fall through, I called her on my supper break. She told me to get home, and she would get us back to the city on boxing day :)
Now here i’ve been for over an hr after getting home from work packing and repacking trying to reduce bags and get everything sorted to make sure nothing is forgotten… 1 tote of gifts to grocery reusable bags full of food stuffs/food gift stuffs and 1 suitcase 1/4 of clothes, the rest MORE gift stuff… lol I msg’d the one driving and told her i think i over did Christmas… and its mostly for D and Mom…lol
And in all that, playing “ball” with Felan while he lays on top of the present tote looking at me with disgust cause he knows we’re leaving him lol
It’s almost over lol only a few more days!

So glad you managed to sort out travel. Is there no way you could make it on public transport?

No :( there is no buses anymore, there is only a shuttle van service but it would cost about $75 per person each way,so even just down would have cost WAY more then the $40 i paid our friend! Plus for D to sit in said van, its really cramped if he doesn't get the front seat which is usually reserved for senior passengers.
It's about a 3hr drive to my hometown non stop if we go one shore, 3.5 the other way. lol
