CEO came to my office first thing this morning to ask me what I need from her to stay with the company as far as making sure I gain the skills needed for this “new” position I’ve temporarily been handed. I have 45 days to do this…and she verbally told me that SHE WANTS ME HERE. She wants me to stay with the company. What now?
I do love the Line That I Created, you guys. It has the potential to be the hottest thing this company has ever done. It’s JUST launched in the marketplace (barely!) and we have an online exclusive with a massive retailer that is an incredible feat.
With this new role I’ll be 100% in charge of the LTIC (not sharing the glory with Golden Boy as I had been or anyone else…it will be my baby completely), and you know how passionate I am about that.
On the one hand, I want to make this work. I want it VERY much. On the other hand, I have to keep aggressively searching for my next gig. Bottom line, everything is ratcheting up.
