Radon report came in on the new house. Average Radon reading is 1.3, levels higher than 4 are concerning. Our radon report came back as 14!!
Okay… some serious shit needs to be taken care of before we take possession!

There must be other houses? That # would frighten me off! I'm tempted to get a test kit for our office as I have suspicions of the air quality there. The crawl space under it is not ideal.

I don't know about the technicalities of it, but our inspector got back to us and said "Actually it is a 9". So still awful but less so. If sellers argue about Radon Mitigation, we may have to look for a new house.

Yeah, that's why Wife instantly started looking through ways of mitigating Radon issues and we decided we need Sellers to take care of that!
