Want to know what safety is?
It’s not how I should be
locked indoors like some jewelry piece
I’m not and that’s a boring analogy

I’m human
Treat me like one

Safety is when I fear no more
wherever I am
no need to look over my shoulder,
being left alone wherever I stand

It’s respect for my personal space
instead of causing me to suffocate
Don’t put me in disgrace
You’ll cause nothing more but hate
