Discrimation almost quit job in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

I almost quit my new job because I was annoyed. A woman asked if I was a mother if I was married and my religious preference she needed to be sure I had a good moral compass. She said anyone without children can’t possibly understand how to take care of a human being. Any person not married does not understand patience. She demanded to know my religion. I looked at her asking how does any of this have anything to do with taking care of the client? I grew annoyed by her questions. If I can take care of myself obviously I can care for the client.

She told me she doesn't want a person who is not a mother to care for her client. I felt defeated and discriminated against because I chose not to marry or have children because I don't create life I can't afford to feed!

I thought about it was thinking of quitting. I called my boss today to tell her my bravada motor is blown I am going to transfer truck into my name put insurance on it to work. She asked me how my work was going. I told my boss about the intrusive questions for my boss got angry at the clients mother. Saying that is discrimination she will not tolerate that. She offered to transfer me after tomorrow. I told her yes please. I hope I find someone who appreciates me. I really hope I didn’t make a mistake.

After I start getting good hours I intend to pay someone to install a new motor into my Bravada. That vehicle has been good to me I have faith with repairs I will have my car for years to come. I know I could buy a new car but why give up something you are comfortable with? Putting a motor in my old car is cheaper than a car payment every month.

I found a free date for tomorrow night. Less than 1/4 mile from our mobile home is a videogame arcade. They are offering people to play for free from 6-9. Talan likes videogames. I like the older games but have no skills. Free is my type of enertainment. I showed it to talan his answer is maybe. I hope he doesn’t back out.

Payday is tomorrow. I hope I made enough to put insurance on the truck and enough to make it on for the next 2 weeks. I hope I will get more hours in the future I would love to get my truck fixed. I will not allow one woman to ruin my job. I keep going on.
