Another one. Another AK 15 used and another 10 people dead (9 kids, 1 adult) plus another 13 injured. If I remember the count correctly. One of those kids, Sabika Sheikh, was from Pakistan. She was an exchange student. This child’s parents literally sent their child to a “better country” to learn and she was killed instead.
The fact that people are looking at this and thinking that we need no change is appalling and disgusting. I honestly do not know how many more people need to die. Especially kids. Kids are the ones being attacked. Our generation, millennials, we had some school shootings and we lost our own to that. Are we going to continue? Are we going to let gen z, our current generation, continue to get mowed down by these weapons?
To be clear, millennials are people ages 22 to about 37. Generation Z, or the iGeneration, is ages infant to about 22. So, pretty much, anyone born after 1998 is iGeneration.
I know we can make some change. My generation can do it. Some of us are old enough to take office and I know a few of my friends are trying to get into politics. I wish I was more inclined or maybe better suited for it. I would love to change these terrible laws.
There is so much wrong with the situation we are in.
The United States was an experiment and that experiment is failing.
