so improbable but
that friday night feeling
it made me think of all the things that are possible
i met someone cool
i did something fun
i left feeling good
like something had begun
and it gave me desires
the kind that i need
to make my dreams so real that i’ll need new dreams
i became someone cool
(which i was all along)
at ease and at peace
not afraid to be wrong
and all these things i admire
i caught a glimpse of the key
the cultivation of objects that say something of me
it’s all possible and
i’ve got a new lease on my desires
