The year before we left Stockport Gill and I went to see Ken Dodd, we went in 7.30, the show started a 8.00 and we go out just after 1 am, that was Doddy. If people went out early he said ‘I’ll be round to finish the show through the letter-door.
He was just 80 then but that didn’t slow hem, Ken Dodd said he would not stop, I wonder when his last show was!
The death of Ken Dodd is the passing of a type, the owners of the show stages can close at a descent hour; as to Heaven - Doddy is coming.
R I P Ken Dodd, if you can …..

I don't know Doddy but it sounds like he will be bringing plenty of good times to heaven.
