It was a long day at work today, busier than usual for a Wednesday. My daughter’s bike came in today, a day early, and I can’t wait to put it together tomorrow! She’s going to be stoked when she comes home Friday!
Also, at the drive thru window I was working today, I saw a guy the whole town knows to be pretty off (to say the least) step in front of a truck and get himself hit. He’s okay, but badly messed up. People were already saying he was dead not fifteen minutes after it happened, but luckily that is not the case. I wish the poor guy would get help, but I am pretty sure the damage he’s done to his brain is not reversible. Makes me so glad I got help when I did back in the day. I was a pretty heavy meth user and almost lost my daughter. I went to rehab and got clean and this April 23rd will be four years now :)
Granted, I do hide my pot smoking, and for good reason. I have cut down on that quite a bit though. In any case…
I am off tomorrow. Thank goodness. My back is finally easing up, and I have some gardening to do!
