Through frustratingly long hours of ridiculous effort, I've been able to download my journal entries from 1999 to 2004. I've been locked out and / or kicked off so many times I couldn't care to count. The sheer waste of energy is ticking me off.
At this point, I am losing any affection for the site I ever had.
Currently, it's been over two hours since I was able to get anything at all downloaded. Yes, I'm pulling text only and in small bits, but it does not seem to matter. I'm thinking I'll get it all out sooner or later, but, damn, does it have to be so hard?
I'll stay up late again tonight and keep plugging away.
Amazing how all I want to do is take my stuff and walk away from the site, just forget the whole dang place, and it's forcing me into hours more of fighting with it and then coming here to rant about it.
Oh well. 69 months of entries downloaded - 109 left to go. I'll be happy when I'm free and clear of the place.
