Senior Year 10/6/2004
I'm so pissed that all of my summer entries got deleted. Whatever.
It's been going OK this year. I went to a toga party with my friends a few weeks ago, which was fun. I went over to Jennie and Bridget's house where two of their other friends were visiting. The toga party itself was pretty hot, a major plus being that I didn't have to pay to get in. The girls and I basically plunked ourselves down in the basement with a pitcher of punch and played Kings and Never Have I Ever....fun stuff. Jennie and I decided that we should go dt wearing togas. Bridget stayed at the house with her boyfriend, who was hosting the party. Jennie and I flagged down a random cab and asked him to take us dt for five dollars, which he actually agreed to. I'm thinking he did that because Jenny's toga was ridiculously skimpy and because she spent the rest of the car ride telling the cabbie about the random sex she just had at the party. (She's a bit of a party girl....)
We got to dt pretty late so no-one really saw us in our costumes. It was a fun night though...I ended up spending the night in Bridget's room, since she was still at the house. We went out for b'fast the next day and I didn't get back to my apartment til almost two o'clock.
My birthday also recently just passed. It's so weird to be 22...you're of legal age to do just about everything, so it's really not that special. I went to Pizzeria Unos (a favorite restaurant of my pledge class) and had dinner with Heather, B-Pop, Nicole, Christine, and Erin. Dinner was good, but uneventful, and after we left we planned to pregame at my house before going downtown. I get a call later from Nicole, Christine, and Erin that they're not pregaming with me because they're just going to go straight dt, to get to the free keg first. I was so hurt and upset...I mean, pregaming isn't a HUGE deal but apparently I rank lower on their priority lists than a free keg does....
Lauren called me up later saying that she and Ashley wanted to meet up with me dt. Ashely had been working, and Lauren, who's asst. pledge mom this semester was busy at an event with her pledges. So B-Pop, Heath, and I went dt, where we basically drank the night away. I met up with my friend Amy who literally jumped on me while I was sitting on a pool table....she bought me a drink and the four of us hung out til Lauren and Ash showed up. We basically danced the entire night, and drank and hung out, so all in all it was a good birthday. Not as eventful as my 21st, but I kind of expected that.
As for this week....Corinne and Toni are coming up to visit this weekend, along with Katie, my pledge mom. It's Alumni Weekend so I'm really excited for it....I miss my friends so much. Binghamton isn't the same without them.
Until my next ramble
