Sororities Suck 10/22/2002
I know I haven't written in awhile...just don't want to have my diary deleted. Pledging is a nightmare. I just might drop it. So far (and this is just tonight) I'v been called a loser, an asshole, a 'half ass,' we disgusted the sisters so much that they made us face the wall. We were told to do squats, and when I couldn't do them, a sister yanked me up. When I told her I couldn't do it any more, she hissed "I don't care!" I know who it was too, now I'm thinking about it. It was June, one of the bitchiest sisters. I wrote about her in my last entry...so yeah, she's a charmer. I was wondering who kept yanking on my arms....We were blindfolded, but I put it on in such a way that I could see underneath, through the bottom. So for those of you who are thinking of Rushing, don't. I'm hesitant to drop it since I've invested four weeks of my life into it.
Tania, my pledge sister, or soon to be ex pledge sister, is depledging tomorrow. After tonight's volley of insults and degrading activities, she's giving up. She's a junior, she won't be in college that much longer and she's sick of it. So yeah, this is a MAJOR time-sucker. I'll try and write some catch-up entries tomorrow.
