Last Friday Night (20th) 9/25/2002

Friday night was Alexis’s birthday. Jan, Melissa, and Kira were seriously pissing me off. They just kept leaving me out of things and just generally being assholes. They all bought a bouquet for Alexis and signed their names to it. No-one even told me about it. They planned on taking Alexis out to dinner, but told everyone but me the plans. When I asked a simple question such as, “Where are we meeting Diane, Ariel, and Alexis?” Kira would simply shrug her shoulders and continue her conversation with Jan.

We ended up staying in and ordering food. Actually, I didn’t get to eat my food until hours later. I had the second round of Rush that night and I needed to be there by 8:15. I asked them to order food before 7:30 so I could eat with them, but no. Jan and Kira decided that they weren’t hungry until 7:45.

When I got back we ended up going to Sigma Phi Epsilon’s frat party (aka ‘Sig Ep’). It was a major bust. They didn’t have enough jello shots, and all they had was beer, which I hate. We kept losing people and it was just a general mess. I met up with Regina, from two nights ago, and Amanda, my fellow pledge for our sorority, which I will call Iota.

We all decided to leave because the party sucked. I didn’t bring my fake ID, or my real one, because the original plan was to go to the frat party, and then a house party, neither of which required ID. While we were standing on the sidewalk, Kira, Jan, and Melissa change the plan to going out to a bar. I almost killed her. They knew I didn’t bring one. Then Kira, in probably one of her bitchiest moments of all time tell me to go get Diane, so they can figure out what to do. And I actually did it. I let some eighteen year-old freshman boss me around. I told Diane that Kira wanted her, and when I turned around to go back, Kira, Jan, Melissa, and their friends were gone. I went back to Diane, who was also getting fed up with Kira and I ended up crying. I told her about feeling left out and getting treated like a tag-along. Diane was so sweet…She told me she felt the same way, and that any time I needed to talk, I was more than welcome to call or come over.

We ended up hanging out with Regina, and some friends she had brought along. The three boys she had been hanging out with were all so annoying. We went to the house party that we had originally intended to go to, but it was over by the time we got back. The cab wouldn’t let the seven of us pile in, so Regina and I went with her three guy friends to Wal-Mart and left Diane and Alexis with some of their friends at the party. I kept asking if it was OK, and they said it was, so I didn’t feel like such a bitch. We decided to drink my tequila that I had in my room since we had nothing else to do at that point. I had four shots that night and felt nothing. I think my liver is starting to rebel…
