Cheers 9/18/2002

9/16/02

In my last entry, I wasn’t mad. I was, but a lot of that stuff in the entry was true. Alli doesn’t talk to me anymore. I get a random ‘hi’ when we see each other in the hallway. Kira’s pretty cool, but Melis blatantly favors Jess. She walks in our room without knocking, doesn’t say hi to me, and goes straight for Jess’s side of the room. Which pisses me off, since I was helping to take care of her when she got sick on Thursday. They’re just dropping like flies as the weeks go by…

OK, I started writing an entry at 2:30 am, and now it’s 3:13. Wanna know why I’m still up? Open Diary wouldn’t save my entry, and I lost the whole damn thing. So anyway, its Monday morning, and I’ll backtrack to Thursday night. On Thursday night it was decided that I would go to Cheers, a bar, with Diane, Alexis, Ariel, and their friends Jeff and Dan. Kira, Melis, and Jan went over to Jan’s friend’s house. So I figured, “OK, whatever,’ and brought over my vodka to Diane and Ariel’s room where we pre-gamed with mixed drinks.

Jeff and Dan came over. Dan was just absolutely funny looking, and a lot of it was due to common sense. He has this large black tuft of black hair in between his eyebrows. That, and he has a Mohawk. Not a large Mohawk, a little one. It looks like a haircut gone terribly awry. Jeff is a good-looking id. I was informed that he has a thing for Diane, so I backed off. Not that I openly flirt anyway, or that he would’ve jumped into bed with me, but I won’t even try attempting to flirt with a guy that I know is interested in one of my friends.

Diane called a cab that was supposed to be there at 10:30, but she refused to go outside and check for him. Apparently they told her that they’d call when they got there, but on Thursday nights, no-one’s calling; you jump in a cab and you go. Finally, at 11:00 I convinced her to go outside so we could hail a cab. We got there at around 11:20, which was silly because we could’ve just waited for the other three girls. But anyway…the only easily accessible alcohol was beer because A) it cost a buck per can and B) the hard liquor line was too long. I hate beer, so I ended up being sober.

No guys were dancing with me ::Gasps in surprise:: so I ended up grinding with Diane and Alexis, which was actually a lot of fun. But then everyone started hooking up with everyone else, which kind of soured the night. Alexis was with Dan and Melis got with Jeff. (Melis, Kira, and Jan came into the bar about forty-five minutes after we did…they were all smashed. Apparently, they were doing massive amounts of shots of Grey Goose and the house). Kira was hitting on Gavin, Jan’s friend. I just felt awkward and out of place. Then Kira was throwing up in the bathroom (all over the floor and mirror) and Melis started to get kind of green. It was decided that we would walk back to Gavin’s house and take the sick ones to lay down for a bit before going back to the dorms.

I didn’t feel like staying with the couples, so I scooted out of there, so I could help Jan and Gavin with Melissa and Kira. Kira was using my for a crutch since she couldn’t walk straight, as well as a support, since she could barely stand. Melis tried to have sex with a metal fence post…kind of amusing.

At the house Kira was flipping out because she was wearing a borrowed shirt from Melissa and had gotten some of her vomit on it. Melis was outside throwing up off of the back porch. Melissa had borrowed a shirt from Kira, and also gotten throw-up on it, so they were even. Jan and I were going back and forth, making sure neither one passed out. Finally, we knew we needed to go back to the dorms. In one of the dumbest fucking things I’ve ever done, I agreed to let Jan drive. She had been drinking heavily earlier with Kira and Melissa. She hadn’t had anything in two hours, and was fairly sober, but I shouldn’t have gotten into the car with her. I offered several times to drive, since I only had a few sips of a beer and a tiny Sea Breeze four hours ago. She kept refusing, and I was just too frustrated and tired to argue. It was one o’clock when we got back. Kira passed out after throwing up again, and I got into minor trouble with Tim since Kira was massively drunk and we were partially responsible for her. That, and I let it slip that we were pre-gaming in the dorms.

I went to sleep sober, pissed, and sad. Boys don’t like me. I try not to care, but it hurts so badly.
