She gets hiccups a whole lot! I believe she’s also head-down. Still quite active and I’m left wondering if she ever sleeps!
I’m always sick, still. It hasn’t really gone away but it has come and gone in waves. This week has been particularly rough for me, but I’m managing just fine. The thing that’s kicking me down is the fatigue. I’m always exhausted, and it doesn’t help that I wake up consistently between 3:45 and 4:00am everyday.
I’ve been out of school/work for almost a month but I go back next week. I have two evening classes and I’m just trying to figure out how I’m going to cope with that. I guess I don’t have much of a choice though, do I? :)
I was very emotional last week because I am ready to be done with being pregnant and have a new baby to snuggle with and take care of. I know she still needs more time, but for some reason it was hitting me hard. I’m feeling better this week and having less depression symptoms too.
I’ve been focusing on eating less junk food (although this week I’m craving a Coca Cola pretty hardcore). I might treat myself since I haven’t had a soda in a very long time. My weight gain has been pretty consistent and I’m about 15 lbs up from my weight at my first prenatal appointment. I imagine I’ll probably be around the same weight I was when I was at the end of Cannon’s pregnancy, which is higher than where I wanted to be, but I also had gained some weight before I got pregnant this time that I didn’t have before I got pregnant with Cannon. So it all evens out, I suppose. I’m just glad I haven’t gained nearly as much weight as I did with my other two pregnancies so far.
I don’t look forward to the weight loss process after pregnancy, but I do look forward to developing healthier habits with James. We were exercising regularly before my second trimester and we need to get back on track. He has quit drinking during my pregnancy and he’s lost 20 lbs just from that alone! I think we will continue that after I’m done. Neither of us drink much anyway. I haven’t drank since before we were trying to conceive.
