Christmas was great! We had family over and managed to keep the house pretty clean. The only thing that wasn’t great was two kids ended up getting sick. They had fevers, and then two kids were throwing up yesterday. It seems to be going around. My husband was sick for the past two days, but he’s at work today. I sure hope that I’m not next.

We’re not doing anything for New Year’s Eve, just going to bed. We’ll have my two kids that night so I’ll probably just put on that Netflix thing and send them to bed only a bit later than their usual time. They get so cranky if they don’t go to bed on time! Cannon marches himself upstairs and put himself to bed whenever he needs a nap or it’s bed time. I can relate, kid. Lorelei is also pretty good about going to bed and staying in bed until she falls asleep, but she has a little more trouble. She’s always ready to get up and play. The other day she was up at 2:45 in the morning. She went back to bed when I said it wasn’t time to get up though.

I haven’t left the house in awhile but my prenatal appointment is today, so I have to. It’s the dreaded glucose test today.

It’s been so damn cold. We need groceries badly but I really dread having to leave the house.
