Well we’re at the point of no return now, I’m more than halfway done. This is going by so fast!
Maeve was more bouncy and kicky last week than she is this week. She’s moving quite a bit, just in a more “swimmy” and doing softer kicks/punches/whatever it is. I’ve been noticing some repetitive movements that feel like hiccups, but I’m not sure if it’s hiccups or her doing something two or three times in a row. Can they hiccup this early? I know they are swallowing amniotic fluid, so it’s possible, probably.
I’m looking for a lamb stuffed animal to give her, and a blanket with happy clouds/rainbow in pastel tones for a blanket, but I haven’t really found one yet.
I still have to take Zofran almost daily, especially at night. My pelvis is starting to ache more, and it’s not always pleasant to walk. My sciatic nerve is acting up, but manageable. I imagine I’ll need physical therapy when I get further along. My legs are so itchy that I can’t stand it, and I am constantly moisturizing, so it’s probably hormonal. I wake up with lower back aches and it’s difficult to find a sleeping position that’s comfortable. The thing that helps me most is a pillow on each side of me, while I lay on my side.
I feel pretty okay, otherwise.
