-Always be very specific when explaining your desires and limits to others. (See rule #2)
-Do not, for any reason assume someone understands you. (See rule #4)
-If your comfortable, your guard is down.
-Never let your guard down.

Maybe; but it's like losing a limb for every beautiful thing you experience. At a certain point, self preservation kicks in and you'd rather live in a dark lonely world than live in a colorful vivid place you lost everything to get to.
