Monster in Behind the Music

Listening in on Eminem's single "Monster ( feat. Rihanna)" I find the course to draw up reflections of my past and how it has affected me today. The course.
"I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed Get along with the voices inside of my head You're trying to save me, stop holding your breath And you think I'm crazy, yeah, you think I'm crazy" Well that's nothing!...... Well that's nothing!
The song drums up the fact that I have befriended the very things that make me such a unmanageable basket case that I'm, and that they are all I know. Yet the people around me have no idea of the extent of my madness and what I maybe capable of.

Yea we are all mad indeed but no one ever really wants to acknowledge the past and what makes us such monsters. It's never an excuse for our actions, however, to not consider our true inner demons and to just befriend them keeps us locked away in madness.
