Transfer Decision 3/26/2002
So yeah...I think I'm going to Binghamton. Rochester is the same amount of money as Syracuse (which is way too much, in my opinion) and even farther in distance. With Binghamton, I'm guaranteed to get into a sorority, which means I can meet lots of people really fast. My sister is in this sorority, so I know the girls can't be too bitchy or stupid because my sister isn't the type to hang out with that crowd. I know I can get into the bars since I've been going to them since I was sixteen. I don't know, I just needed to calm down for awhile. I'm glad I'm transferring though.
My lab partner/quasi friend Adam told me med schools want at least a 3.6. I don't understand how that's possible since science classes desin tests so the class average is approximately a 50 (that's a quote from my chemistry teacher). Then, if you're lucky, they'll give you a twenty point curve. OK, so that's a C and a C is a 2.0. How the hell am I supposed to get a 3.6 then??? But Binghamton has a 65% acceptance rate into medical school, so I have to believe that they know what they're doing. Anyway...back to work.
