College Weekends 9/15/2001
I met this girl named Jen in my chemistry lecture. She's in the hall adjacent to mine, our hometowns are twenty minutes from each other, and we have the same birthday. We're not friends exactly, but she's a cool person. We really don't hang out outside of class. She came up here with a bunch of friends from her high school, plus she's always busy talking to her long-distance boyfriend over the phone. I saw her in the lobby and we started talking. I asked her what she was doing that night so I invited her out to a movie with me and Dionne. Dionne lives diagonally from me. She's partially deaf and she has a speech impediment, so its hard to understand her sometimes. She's nice though.
Linda was going with one of the girls down the hallway, Brita....isn't that the name of a water filter??? I'm not too keen on Brita...Anyway, Linda stayed behind with Brita, Dionne stayed behind with one of her friends, and I went ahead with Jen. Moulin Rouge is an awesome movie by the way...Anyway, Linda and Dionne both got ditched by their friends, so they came alone later on. We got back from the movie and Jen left to go call her boyfriend. ::rolls eyes:: This kid named Justin who lives two doors down....sooooooo hot...Looks like a linebacker. Blonde hair, blue eyes, great build, really nice...what's the catch, you ask? He has a long distance girlfriend he's totally devoted to. ::sigh::
He had left a note on my door saying how drunk he was. He came by later so we started hanging out. We played the card game Asshole with Dionne and had some popcorn. Her friend Jessa came over from another dorm and she started playing. This kid named Albert from down the hall started playing too. When Albert left, I had said that I had had fun with him and that he should stop by during the week and say hi. We went to Jessa's dorm, which was an upperclassmen dorm. It has all kinds of food stores in it. The four of us, Dionne, me, Justin, and Jessa all hung out till four in the morning. I exchanged phone numbers with Jessa and went to my room.
It's been almost a week and Albert barely acknowledges me when we pass each other in the hallway. I know he's not shy around girls because he hangs out with a ton of them from our hallway. I left a message on her machine on Tuesday. She hadn't called me back, so I called her on Friday. I honestly had a question about the Visual and Performing Arts School...don't ask, it's another entry. Justin is cool, but I never see him because he's a sophomore and he has his own set group of friends. He's also an architecture major in the five-year program here so he's really busy...I dunno...Dionne is sool. I hung out her this weekend with some other girls. I'll write more later, I need to shower, I'm all icky.
Until later
