Night of my Life 8/13/2001
Last night was awesome. Rarely does my entire family go out anywhere. Last night, Rebecca was actually home, my Dad wasn't out with his friends, and John was acting normal. (Relatively speaking...) Mom and Dad decided that we'd all go out to dinner to one of my favorite Greek restaurants. It was just so nice to sit down with my entire family without fighting...Dinner was awesome. I had chicken stuffed with spinach all covered with melted feta cheese. I also had this awesome lentil soup...Aaahhh. This is what I'll be fantasizing about when I'm stuck with mystery meat and moldy vegetables at my school cafeteria. Afterwards, we all went out to Carvel. Black rasberry ice cream kicks ass.
Next Wednesday I'm leaving for school. Thursday is my orientation and that following Monday I start class. I think this Wednesday Dad is taking Becca and I out for sushi (big smile), this Saturday my mom is making pineapple chicken (another big smile) and the last Sunday I'm here my Dad is taking us all out to John Harvard's, another one of my favorite restaurants (tooth cracking grin). Last night was just a really great night that'll I'll take with me to college.
Linda just called...she wanted to know something about our cable, and she just found out our new phone number. She's sounding pretty nice so far... Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll turn out to be a really decent roommate. I guess I'm cutting this entry off now.
