Wonderful Start 6/13/2001

Well, once again I am right when it comes to art. McCafferty, my AP Biology teacher, told me to paint over the black marker on my mural. The mural was fine, it could've done without a frame, but no. He wanted to change it. So, I paint over it, and what happens? You can still see the black marker! What a surprise! There was an additional five or six layers of paint, and it still didn't cover the black marker. When I saw my newly-ruined mural this morning I almost cried. The black marker now looks like a weird green, and you can still see where the original lettering was.

Originally, I wanted to take off my last day (today). My finals are finished and I've said good-bye to my friends. McCafferty insisted that I come today so I can work on my mural. I got up early and everything. Once I saw the ruined mural I just thought, "Forget it." My mother then tells me that I have to go into school because my retarded brother John forgot his history book. So now, I have to go into school to bring in a 2 foot by three foot ruined mural and somehow manage to carry my brother's history book. At this point my mother and I are now fighting and I've just decided to totally blow everything off. Let McCaff give me a zero. That mural was only one part of our final. There were five parts total. So I'll get an 80 instead of a 100. Cry me a river.

I don't know what pisses me off more; the fact that I got up early for no reason or the fact that McCafferty made me ruin my mural.

Well, my summer is starting out so good. I'm fighting with my mom, I'm going to get a zero on a mural that I did beautifully (I'm modest right? :o) and that my teacher made me ruin, and it's storming outside. What a wonderful start...
