Trip From Hell 4/27/2001
Hey--I'm up at Binghamton finally. It's been such a hassle to get here, but I'll explain that when I get home. My father put me on the wrong bus, I was forced to switch buses at Port Authority (this may not have been such a bad thing if I had been to the city by myself before...), my parents gave Becca the wrong bus station and the wrong time I would be arriving...yeah it was the trip from hell.
To top everything off, I asked my mother to reschedule my tour at Syracuse for me. The bus from Binghamton to Syracuse arrives too late for me to catch the tour, so I asked my mother to reschedule me for a later tour. When I got to Becca's yesterday, I called my mother to ask what tour I'd be on. She rescheduled me for my original tour. Ok, she has her master's degree, I don't understand what is so hard. I wrote everything out for her and she still screwed it up. I ended up hanging up on her because I'm safer when I'm alone and when I do things by myself than when I'm with my parents and I let them do things for me. My parents are slowly showing me that they just can't be relied upon.
So now, I have to go to Syracuse this morning and reschedule a tour while I'm there and pray they let me on a later tour. This would've been so much simpler had my father just driven me up to Syracuse, but he's always too busy with his bike, business, or his friends. (Sorry if I'm sounding like a petulant child, but I'm pretty bitter over the entire thing).
Becca has been really great. She was angry for awhile, but she knows whose fault it is. I feel so bad for her, she was so worried...She's been really cool though.
So this morning I'm headed of to Syracuse and sould be back by dinner time. Tomorrow we'll all party like rock stars hopefully, because I mainly came up here to be with Becca and have fun.
Hopefully, I've time to write more tonight. Later!
Until next entry
