Prismatic Shadows

The shaded glimpse
I have of your life
Is a mere tingle
To my brain.
Only to see deeper
Would silence my complaint.

Ajar I am,
Ignorant of you –
I am but a a cloud
In your blissful sky.
I’m nothing but distant
In your mind’s eye.

Blank is the gaze
Of the longed princes –
Scarlet are the hands
Of the desperate obsessed.
