Melodic Fancy

Wind blowing,
People throwing;
Playing ball out on the yard.

Simple pleasures,
Hardly measured;
Exciting ritualistic yarns.

Children napping,
Puppies lapping;
Protecting families from harm.

At night we’ll sleep,
While the sad weep;
Falling tears covering the hard.

In morning awaken,
The sun will shapen;
Casting shadows on the yard.
