Shining Stars

Shining stars
In shining eyes.
They’re young and sweet
And protected from lies.

Is she lost or is she waiting
For the answer to her prayers.
In hopes that in her begging
She’ll drawl in wholesome layers.

While searching through her choices
She sifts through naysayers.
Focuses goal-ridden fantacies
While battling off the players.

In circles I do speak tonight
But within my rhyme does tell;
For whom I’m wishing happy thoughts
Forever pressing to quell.
