Blindness
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blindly searching for time;
Time to end of hectic day.
Forver I long for nothing;
Nothing but freedom from decay.
Day after day my time rears;
Rearing forward to an end.
Ending solemn sadness
Sometimes forgotten in the bend.
Pushing happiness to my forefront;
Napping till it comes to rape.
Awaiting pleasure and freedom;
Freedom from my tired landscape.
Solemn days lead to cold nights;
Cold from my past.
Breathing demands into my soul
To reap the benefits fast.
I welcome pleasant sunlight;
With arms blindly open.
I’m looking for anything to inspire
Removing the sullen.
