Look, I understand that racism and bigotry should be stamped out. I’m all for that.
But when a rally called “Free Speech Rally” is considered a bad thing, I have to ask whether or not you’re doing the right thing.
Freedom of speech used to be a Liberal idea. So why are liberals these days so against free speech?
I’m a Liberal. I believe in freedom of speech. The current contingency of the far left are against freedom of speech.
So were the Nazis.
Figure out what fucking side you’re on.
EDIT Nice one people, for missing my point completely. Bravo.
I personally believe that everyone has the right to freedom of speech, even the nazi bigots, because if YOU are allowed to speak, so are they. Banning opposing thoughts and opinions is Nazi behaviour, and that’s just a plain fact.
And besides, you realise it’s easier to identify these bigots when they tell you who they are? I’m glad they hold these rallies because then we can all see their madness first hand. That’s incredibly useful.
Closing comments (and I’m aware of the irony but fuck it, hahaha) because I don’t need any more telling me I’m wrong simply for not towing the social justice party line. I’m not on either side of this debate, I think you’re ALL stupid. And some of the comments I received on this article merely proved my point on that score.
Like I’ve repeatedly stated, I am against bigotry and racism, so don’t even fucking try that one on me again.

Weren't the counter protesters and the press also expressing their freedom of speech? If you start a rally vehemently denying Solo shot Greedo first, I can come with a permit like the counter prior had, and maintain Greedo was attacked first. Every rally or protest will have counter protesters in either direction. I've seen it first hand.
