Here is Friday in Day by day

Woken to a very grey and miserable looking day.

Hubby, managed to finish work early yesterday , so we could meet Jennette and her family at Nandos. Louise turned up with Owen unexoectly, so that made 8. We struggled to get a Table a table, as our local nandos is only small. By the time we were all gathered the place was full. This did surprise me as we live in a deprived town, with few employment opputunities.

The meal went well and it was nice to see all the family together. Of course Karl was not invited and never will be again. This does sadden me but I accept it.

Yesterday I spent many hours looking for a holiday in Turkey and in the end I did not manage to find one. I guess I just don't know enough about turkey to choose the right one for us.

I walk to Louise's with Archie yesterday but did not call in. Archie looked much happier once we left the park. On the way back as we entered the park hugs head went down and just looked miserable.

Yet when we took him park on our return from the meal, he was all bouncy and full of energy.

I am feeling low this morning, so hope I brighten as the day gets under way
