Salsa dancing without in My Poetry Slams

Feet burning holes on this empty dance floor
I keep dancing while you squeal for more
Sweat beads, left foot leads, love recedes
Cool palms press together as you clap your hands
Never really intending to join the dance
Sing to me, softer then louder,
Scream your lies before my eyes
Let my cold indifference wash over
Let it sink in that I never intended
To let you start dancing
