Oh poor he in Deplorable thoughts

Wrong on so many levels. “No politician in history has been treated worse…“

A speaker is invited to a commencement.
He’s supposed to give an inspiring speech to the graduates.
It’s their big day.
He’s not supposed to use that particular podium
to whine about how everybody’s picking on him.
(Again.)
The moment is not about him,
Except that,
for this particular man,
it is about him.
It’s always about him.
His remarks were so unpresidential,
So simply clueless and rude by any standard.

“No politician in history has been treated worse…“

A president who, if he is not engaging in a major cover-up,
has done everything that it is possible to do
to make it look as though he is engaging in a major cover-up.
A president who, if he is not in cahoots with a foreign power,
has done everything that it is possible to do
to make it look as though he is in cahoots with a foreign power.
A president about whom there are deadly serious questions
is being questioned.
It does not seem that he is being treated badly.
It rather seems as though his actions warrant (scream)
for the natural reactions to such actions -
questions
which have been evaded
or answered with questionable and constantly changing explanations,
whose implausibility could only lead to speculations
and then investigations
because there is truth,
somewhere,
It just seems that he’s never going to be the source of it.
That’s not picking on the poor beleaguered man.
That’s pretty much just the natural reaction arising
from of his questionable (at best) behaviour.

“No politician in history has been treated worse…“

Okay, no matter that the man says it “with surety,”
I think some people might beg to differ.

Though you don’t hear him bring it up,
perhaps President Obama might say he was treated worse,
not because of his own actions, questionable or otherwise,
but because of his genetics.
It does seem to me that it’s a bit worse
to have someone doggedly attack him,
claim vocally and constantly
that his presidency was illegitimate for eight years,
despite evidence shown which should never have needed to be shown.

I think Presidents Kennedy and Lincoln might have stronger arguments
that they were treated worse,
considering that they were,
what’s the word?,
oh yes,
Assassinated.
Seems to me, they’d kind of win the argument concerning
whose claim of being treated badly was legitimate
and who’s just a whining narcissist,
a man who cannot understand or handle the reasonable reaction
to his own unreasonable actions.

Donald,
dear dense dullard Donald,
Put on your big boy panties
and stop whining
especially at someone else’s party.

If you want mindless adulation,
please, go stage another rally with your Kool-Aid drinkers.
Your faithful would love the opportunity to commiserate with you
about how unfairly attacked you are,
how every and any thing you disagree with is fake news.
How truth is a lie
or simply an everchanging commodity
that only you can recognize.
Throw a grand pity party for yourself and invite all your faithful dupes.
They live for that stuff.

The rest of us could seriously do without.
