Body heat heartbeat to heartbeat
If you never win is it still defeat
A struggle to the end to fight for amends
To right the wrongs and write the unsung songs
Darkness creeps while daylight leaps
Both will meet where colors bleed
On that long horizon
Both sun and moon rising
The earths tilt hypnotizing
As I’m memorizing
The names of those
Who’ve forgotten, who’ve forsaken, who’ve forgiven
The list goes on
Worries weigh a ton
Angst holding a dance
Where you can find
Anger slow-dancing with Joy
No stepping on the toes
See Sadness there
Cutting a rug as poor
Confusion sits in the corner
No one doesn’t want the winner
So you’re all invited
You’re all expected
At this sad dance
Theme? Emotions
