Nic thinks I still have feelings for my ex. It annoys her. She wants to take me to swanky do’s in the South of France and flaunt me so my ex will see and be jealous.
I’m just not wired that way. But maybe Nic is right. She’ younger, smarter, sexier, more successful, but I gave my heart to someone I loved. I don’t do that easily or lightly. I love Nic but it’s not the same as Ms F. She was a connection that I still can’t adequately describe. A woman who’s betrayal was probably the worse thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life so far.
