Hi guys. If you like “Earth porn” or “word porn” or any other account that post pictures of a given theme with the word “porn”, sit down and shut up while I burst your bubble.
“Pornography” comes from the Greek word “porne”, meaning prostitute, and “graphein”, meaning “to write about”. The two were combined to make “pornographos”, which means to write about prostitutes.
So your cute little account called Earth Porn that posts pictures of trees? Literally means “Earth Prostitute”.
