This morning on my drive into work I realized that I haven’t felt so terrified for our country and our safety and well-being since 9/11. It’s a familiar feeling of being trapped on an island just waiting for disaster. I don’t know what to do.
I just heard that there’s an inter-faith vigil tonight to show support to the people detained at airports nationwide over the weekend. It’s literally on my block. The mayor will be there.
So will I.
Guys, I’m scared. Really scared. For us all.
